Aviation Ranch Maverick Division aims to support and uplift young adults in the ballooning community. It focuses on those who have outgrown traditional summer camps and are managing life expenses while striving to become exceptional pilots. The platform is dedicated to building their confidence and passion for aviation, promoting safe, enjoyable, and affordable learning experiences. By guiding them, the division helps them pave their own paths and pass on their knowledge and enthusiasm to future generations in ballooning. Maverick Division strives to make responsible, respectful and resourceful pilots securing hot air balloon adventures for generations to come.
YOU CAN HELP!
The Maverick Division is the brainchild of Tom and Jessica. They have a great network of others who are helping support this program. If you don't think they are making a difference, just watch Jenna trying to recite the Balloonists Prayer after her first flight in her new balloon.
As you all are aware it takes a ton of work and a team to get a balloon in the air. Even after you take off you still must FLY the balloon. The balloon requires a little blast of heat now and then to continue to stay aloft. The Maverick Division is very much the same way. A group of dedicated and talented individuals have managed to get the Maverick Division "Off the Ground". But we need your help staying aloft! Tell all your friends, crew and fellow pilots about this program. If you can, please make a donation to this effort. We promise the funds will be used well and recipients chosen carefully. To help keep us aloft just click the icon here or navigate to our store to donate.
Thank you for all you do for the Balloon World.
The Ranch Gang.
On Saturday August 31st 2024 Jenna Litton & Lauren Sawin were the first beneficiaries of the Maverick Division.
Lauren Sawin was given a brand new inflation fan to replace the (as Tom said) fan used by the Montgolfier brothers.
Jenna Litton was presented with an entire balloon system! This included a completely refurbished bottom end with zone five burners and a nice head envelope. Her new system also included a fan, radios and an enclosed trailer.
Aviation Ranch would like to thank everyone who was a part of this. Helping the next generation of Balloonists is the mission of the Maverick Division.
